1/2" plywood sides and full height back panel with a UV coated finish inside and out. Plywood holds screws tight and stands up to the everyday humidity of kitchens and baths.

Painted doors are made from HDF, a dense, stable engineered wood chosen specifically for paint. It stays flat and resists the hairline cracks that can appear at the joints of painted solid wood doors as seasons change.
Stained doors feature a solid birch frame with a real wood veneer center panel, so the natural grain shows through. Essence Oak pairs a solid rift oak frame with a rift oak veneer panel. Real wood means every door carries its own unique variation in grain and tone.
